.I am Sonika Sharma and I am from the city of temples Akhnoor Jammu. I am a Teacher by profession and married to OLIVE GREEN . I believe in myself and my abilities, determination is the one word that describes me the most because I have a very beautiful family behind me and I can see the spark in their eyes growing each day which gives me confidence and power to follow my dreams.

I actually feel that my biggest achievement is yet to come .I am always looking to achieve more every time and strive more to improve myself all the time.

For me the true beauty lies in one’s heart and soul , physical beauty is temporary in nature, but if your heart and soul is beautiful ever one remembers you and when they talk about you, smile and blessings comes at their face .This is the true beauty which can make someone happy.

.A happy, healthy and complete family is where everyone shares everything, laugh together, eat together and are open to share their thoughts and feel happy to spend time with each other . Staying together gives a feel of bonding, confidence and feel of security which is very important now a days .To get a bond with each other it’s important to spend a quality time with family.

My favourite idea of holidaying is to go somewhere at beach along with my family, relax, free my thoughts, sit, eat, play together and spend maximum time with children and husband as when all of us are together it’s fun unlimited. Enjoy every moment and beauty of that place and preserve the moments for lifetime.

I am participating in Mrs. India Earth because I have always wanted to represent my country at the highest levels. Mrs. India Earth is a platform which will enable me to realize my childhood dream.

I get perturbed about the persisting terrorism state in our country, when I see the bodies of our armed forces personnel wrapped in tricolor coming from the border and terrorism inflicted areas, my heart goes out to their families left behind and to the supreme sacrifice made by them for the nation.

I believe in the saying “Take every chance you get in life, because something only happen once ‘’, I believe that one has to be always positive and have self belief, confidence and strive to give 100% at every opportunity.

True sportsmanship teaches one to be modest in every walk of life, winning and losing is our part of life because I believe that one never loses either one wins or learn.

I am in a teaching profession since last 15 years and I personally feel that child education is the most important issue to build a strong nation. Children are the future of our society and every child has right to education , to develop social, emotional, and personal values .In future I will continue to impart free education to those children who are not able to afford it on a bigger scale.

A confident, determined, kind, honest, loving, friendly, super creative, hardworking person, a fighter and a true animal and nature lover.

I have a soft corner for animals and I enjoy being around nature.  I believe in showing compassion towards others.

I am vegetarian, and never buy any leather/feather/ animal stuff, whether it’s a dress, shoes, bags or any other household items.

I have more one life achievements to share.

Sometimes life can be difficult, life throws challenges in front of you, and you have the choice to either fight or loose it forever.

Beinga victim and survivorof domestic violence and abuse in my marital relationship and the feeling of ‘refusing to give-up’ and constantly fighting with the challenges and finally manage to stand on my feet again, after a struggle of 9 years.

With the fact that, the journey was extremely difficult and full of struggles, and cannot be described in few words, but I was so determined to reach the point where I am now, and am extremely proud of that.

Also, am very proud to be a finalist for Mrs. India Earth 2018, another feather in the cap.

For me, the True beauty is not just the way you look, true beauty lies within yourself as a beautiful soul.

A beautiful soul is, when you are showing compassion towards others, helping others in need, caring for others, understanding, honest, loyal, loving, not hurting anyone, your positive outlook making people around you comfortable enough to trust you.

A perfect balance of work and home life, spending time with each other, or our family members, or our loved ones.

Also, Discarding the quick and easy takeaway life and maintaining a healthy life style , home cooked food, exercise/yoga and a perfect routine.

Spending time with my loved ones and family and very close to nature.

Also, relaxing on a sandy beach with some music.

I want to combine my intelligence, beauty, passion, hardwork, dedication, creativity and talent and my life experiences, to help others, want to go extra mile to do something for my country and make my country and people proud.

Want to motivate and influence as many people as possible to join me in taking efforts to help save the environment, animals and nature.

Also, I want to help and send out a message to be a role model for similar people like me who are facing or faced same experiences as mine, that if life throws difficulties in front of you, that’s not the end of life, stand up, never give up, and fight for yourself.

I am bit concerned about the safety and security issues and overpopulation.

Never give up, if you don’t try there will be always no, but if you try you are maximizing your chances for YES

Be honest, follow all rules, and never give up. Finish the race even if you are loosing, and not to be afraid for trying again if you don’t win.

I will raise funds to help others who are in need, I will motivate and influence people around me to join hands to take steps to help save the environment , nature and showing compassion towards animals.

Also I will take efforts to spread the importance of education, and will do my best to help as many people as possible to provide them with proper education.

Will also take efforts to help other people struggling with depression or various other issues like domestic violence and abuse.
