  • Gurugram
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • I am a Dermatologist doctor based in Gurugram. I am married to a Cardiologist and mother of two lovely boys. I am running my private practice in Gurugram. I basically belong to Punjab and I am in deep love with Punjabi culture. I like to dress up and keep myself groomed. Sincerity, hard work and honesty are virtues that I have inherited from my parents and I try to practice these in my daily life.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • I come from a humble middleclass background. I was a bright student while in school. I studied medicine and later did my postgraduation in Dermatology. Today I am a successful leading Dermatologist. When I look back, I feel proud that I was able to achieve all that purely by virtue of hard work and persistence.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • True beauty lies not in having beautiful physical assets but having a beautiful heart. If someone is beautiful on the outside but do not have good values in life, then such a person is not beautiful in the real sense. On the other hand, if someone is not attractive physically but has a heart of gold, he/she would be loved by everybody.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Family is the most basic unit of society. Family for me is the whole world. At the end of the day, we go back to our family for support and strength. A complete, healthy and happy family shares and cares.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • My favorite idea of holiday would be at a calm and quite place in the lap of nature with my spouse by my side. A place where all other worldly distractions especially mobile phones are not allowed. Of course, this includes good food.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
  • When I saw this advertisement on facebook, a thought flashed in my mind that after working so hard all these years in building up a career and looking after family responsibilities, our own self gets lost somewhere. So I saw it as a chance to do something for myself and explore this side of my personality which I thought always took the back seat in life.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Not only our country but the whole world was gripped by covid-19 pandemic in last 2 years. This was the most horrifying thing people have seen in their lifetime. The effects of this pandemic in our country really shook my soul, be it returning of people back to their native places on foot, scarcity of oxygen in hospitals or long ques of people outside crematoriums to cremate their loved ones who died in this pandemic. Besides the state of politics is also disheartening. The issue of farmers could have been tackled in a much better way.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • Tough times never last, but tough people always do.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True sportsmanship doesn’t lie only in striving to win the game but it lies in playing the game in healthy team spirit. It is important to be a good player but it is more important to play as part of team.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • If selected as a Charity Ambassador, I would like to create awareness on the cause by organizing talks and events about our work and encouraging others to get involved in fundraising activity. Recruiting supporters and volunteers also forms a part of the job. Being a doctor I have a special interest in Geriatric Medicine. So would like to do work in this area.
