Finalist Detail 2019

Mrs Jessica

  • Nagaland
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own personality and persona.
  • I am a person who believes in zeal and power of compassion. I am a realistic woman who believes that change can happen only if we change ourselves first. I feel blessed that I know how to take care of relationships, whether they are with my family members, friends or even with a stranger. I love to do things in planned manner and pretty obsessive about my actions and never expect anything in return. I am both simple and complex. I am like everyone but uniquely me. Beauty captivates me and I see it everywhere.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • Achievements are many, but the most challenging and rewarding moment of my life was handling both my family life and completing fashion designing course hand in hand with a four-year-old son attending his play school and hubby doing his MD in Aerospace Medicine. It was not easy to balance things, but the reward was worth every struggle.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • Beauty isn’t about having a pretty face, it’s about having a pretty heart, pretty mind and a pretty soul. What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you? A complete, healthy and happy family is where there is unconditional love, affection and respect for each other. Where there is no judging each other’s opinion and respecting our own space and individuality.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Since I am a water baby, my ideal holiday would be, the beaches, crystal clear blue water, snorkelling points and lot of pictures with my hubby and son to complete the vibe.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
  • I entered in this pageant to gain personal improvement on life skill and as an incentive to work on my self-confidence and for the professional opportunities that this platform provides. And through this, I want to be the title holder to encourage others to become their very best self too. Of course, the thought of winning a pageant crown and sash and wearing beautiful gown is what thrilled me. But, the thought of being able to empower myself and work for the community is what motivated me to participate in this pageant.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • The one thing that bothers me the most is minor rape. I really don’t understand how a person could resort or stoop so low and just not feel for even infants, let alone be women. The level of shamelessness and desperateness that this kind of sick mentality lives amongst us really bothers me.

  • The quote or saying that encourages you.
  • You would never have this day again; So, make it count’’.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • According to me, true Sportsmanship is respecting one’s opponent and being able to lose gracefully or accepting defeat with poise. As the saying goes, ‘If you lose, don’t make excuses; if you win, don’t rub it in’.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • If given a chance or privilege to give back to the society, I would love to use my platform to voice out for the orphans by educating and spreading awareness on how we can adopt or sponsor a child for their education and well-being. I would also love to sponsor a child for his/her education.
