Raising wellness not the Illness

Many people will think why I suddenly started talking about mind wellness? Well, the reason is, I needed a platform and I finally about to make myself a platform to address this important topic. Earlier when ever I wanted to discuss, people would thought I am crazy or there is something wrong with me. Even when I told them about raising my concerns regarding mental wellness, they asked "Are you sure? Are you a doctor ?? Are you going to do counselling now, how you are going to help them? “ But then, I was always determined that this is what I want to do.

I know i am not a doctor or a counsellor nor any expert.

But I can at least talk about it . Talking is important as people are scared of that. People think if they will open up or go to a counsellor they will be labeled as mentally unstable ,mentally ill or as a very famous line in India "mental hai".

I know it's very sensitive subject to talk about, but once sexuality was also very sensitive but people have started accepting and getting aware about it . Same way we have to talk about mental wellness also. We have to talk so much that it become so common that no one feel embarrass or ashamed to talk about it.

I know a swallow doesn't makes  summer , but someone has to start somewhere.

I truly believe that every dark cloud has a silver lining. Why not we be that silver line as parents, as friends or as a companion. It's just we have to be more concerned and alert as diseases of the soul are more dangerous than those of the body.

Three  golden words in any one's life are love, faith and hope.

Let’s spread some love, create faith and give some hope to the depress drowning soul.

So here I am ,to talk about mind wellness, and I am talking about it as together we can make the difference.
