- A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
I am SqnLdrDipti Kala married to Mr Praveen Singh and we are blessed with a daughter who is two year old. I am proud part of the Armed Forces. I am a hardworking, cheerful and compassionate personality and determined to make optimum use of the beautiful life of being human. I put in best foot forward in the work I do. My mother is my biggest inspiration. I am an avidlearner and keep myself busy with work. I like cooking, stitching, designing, sketching, painting, teaching and exercising. I am passionate about new assignments in life.
- Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
With blessings and support of my family. I have many feathers to my cap. Few of them are:-
(a) I am a sports person and an Athlete. I have played at Zonal, Regional and National level.
(b) I was featured in DainikJagran and DD Leh (Ladakh).
(c) I received the BEST ALL ROUNDER trophy of my course in Sports at Air Force Technical College.
(d) I was proud part of the FIRST ALL WOMEN CONTINGENT in the Republic Day Parade in Jan 2015 (Remember Barrack Obama!!)
(e) Received Commendation in Third Year of Service.
(f) Selection as a Finalist in Mrs India Earth 2018.
- Define the true beauty.
For me True Beauty is healthy Body and Mind. Nothing overpowers the joy of being healthy.
Good health is the starting point for the journey of life. Rest is what you make of your life. Satisfaction and smile are other features, which adds to the beauty of a person.
- What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
For me a family is complete, healthy and happy when they are together at all times, they have mutual respect for perfections and imperfections and when they have trustamongst themselves.
In this Era of technology, keeping the family values a priority in itself is an achievement. A family is always happy when being together they balance all spheres of life successfully.
- What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
My husband is a keen traveller and with him, I have been lucky holidaying nationally and internationally. For me every part of Mother Nature is beautiful and I enjoy being with family and friends at such places. Travelling is also a kind of learning and it rejuvenates the Body.
Holidaying is an essential part of life for me.
- Why you are participating in Mrs. India Earth ?
I am very passionate about the work I do and I always do the work, which makes me happy and satisfied. Participation in Mrs India Earth is a new and altogether a different assignment for me.
In addition, as I have been associated towards contribution to the society, it gives me an immense pleasure that through this Pageant I will be more closely working for a cause. In my profession, I am associated with Air Force Wives Welfare association and understand the results of Team efforts. I am extremely excited on joining the Team Mrs India Earth.
- What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
Being in uniform of the country and serving is a proud feeling for me. However, everything runs on a sine wave with positives and negatives. What bothers me as a citizen is the negligence towards environment and no value for human life. The global warming and brutality of crimes is increasing and every day is counting. We are neglecting the fact that without the Mother Nature nothing will survive not even humans. People are killed every now and then with no fear. Mrs India Earth save the planet! As team, we can save the environment and humans.
- The Quote or saying that encourages you?
“IMPOSSIBLE SAYS I M POSSIBLE” This quote keeps me going through all the difficult situations. In addition, one stick is easily breakable however; a bundle is hard. As a team we can achieve our aim of making the Earth a better place to live, laugh and enjoy.
- What is true “Sportsmanship†for you?
I have been a sports player throughout my life. I have played at all levels. I have played in all situations when I had time to practise, when I did not have time, when my squadron needed me the most and when I had injuries. True sportsman ship is the attitude to “NEVER QUIT”.
Every day is different, every game is different, and challenges will be new but KEEP GOING and keep your focus. Aim to win because that is the reason you are playing but have the courage to accept failures. Failures are best lessons to get experienced.
- If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
I am closely associated towards teaching. It makes my heart sad when I learn that a 9th standard student cannot perform a simple multiplication. Moreover, everything in this world revolves around Education. An educated society is an asset to the country.
If I were selected as a charity Ambassador, I would definitely work towards education of the un-educated.
Nelson Mandela in one of his speech had said “” Education is the weapon for upliftment of the society”. I strongly agree and would continue working for it.
