  • Audrey Hepburn once said “True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.” I believe anyone can be beautiful with confidence and a positive attitude. I am a grateful daughter, lucky wife and a first-time-mom. Above all, I am a WOMAN who is fiercely independent, passionate and creative.??Professionally I am a Tech Writer in an established Service-based IT industry, although my experience goes to different areas of writing like music, art, culture, food etc.,. I am a true IT professional by the day, and a multi-tasking genie by the night. After my short stint in Zee Kannada as a News Caster, I worked as Editor, Content Writer for several online portals in Singapore. ??During my spare time, I am a mommy-blogger who likes to share the unfiltered side of motherhood. As a self-proclaimed fitness addict, I workout hard but play harder with both my family and my 18-months old toddler. I have this philosophy in life that do good and good will come back to you. I believe volunteering time, money, or energy to help others doesn't just make the world better—it also makes me better. For the simple reason that it makes me feel good. I represent the educated, middle class woman of our society who knows what she wants, has equal opportunities as any man and is not afraid to speak out her mind.    

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • Being a mother is simply the greatest achievement of my life. It has taken me on an unexpected journey that can constantly surprise, educate and confuse me. Motherhood has taught me that the most joy can be found in the everyday in small little things.. The most extraordinary thing about motherhood for me was– finding a piece of myself. I keep learning more from my toddler than she learns from me.?

  • Being strong, confident, driven, independent and knowing that you is comfortable in her own skin is what makes a woman’truly beautiful.' It is about knowing and accepting who you are as a person. It is about knowing limitations and focusing on your strong points. True beauty means being genuine and respecting others; being able to make an impact on those around you based on your values and actions and not solely on your appearance.?

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Physical Fitness: it is good for your body, your mind and your soul. Active parents have active kids. Better fitness means more energy. I believe we need to raise a healthy family particularly in the face of a national “health crisis”.?- Mental/Emotional fitness:Positive emotions include unconditional love, happiness, pride, confidence, and high self-esteem.   • South East Asia is one of those rare destinations where you really can have it all. Pristine white beaches, lush green jungles, rich and colorful heritage, mouthwatering local delicacies. Not to forget the pure white sands and crystal-clear waters.There’s adventures to be had and local cultures to discover. Good planning and best family vacation ever! That is my idea of holidaying!?

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
  • Behind the glitz and the glamour, Mrs. India Earth is a real woman. Yes, she is beautiful, poised, as well as intelligent. Regardless of my age, being a mother with a full-time job and family commitments, I am able to transform myself and become a better person mentally, physically and emotionally. It gives me a sense of achievement that just by participating I can be a role model to my daughter and other women.?

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • In the recent gruesome cases which has caught the limelight, there are thousands of women sexual assaults and Child rape news that got my heart wrenching.Innocent children, who are equated with god in India, are being subjected to cruelty. India is a country of Goddesses but statistics say each day approximately 93 women are being raped. ?

  • The quote or saying that encourages you.
  • Always aim high, work hard, and care deeply about what you believe in. And, when you stumble, keep the faith. And, when you’re knocked down, get right back up and never listen to anyone who says you can’t or shouldn’t go on.?

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Sportsmanship to me is taking pride in how far I have come. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn, Win or lose, always hold your head high and stay true to your character.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • Empowering the differently-abled is on top of my list. Driving initiatives such as creating opportunities for them to learn and keep pace with the rest of the society is very important. Training, counselling and suitable placement opportunities for handicapped children and women in need.
