Finalist Detail 2021

Anasuya P. Pradhan

  • Odisha
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • "Pen is mightier than the sword" rightly portrays my identity! A Sr. content developer by profession and an author, poet & dance performer by passion. I conduct online contests for the unfocused group to showcase their talent, believing my baby steps will make a difference! ‘Anasuya’, my name signifies a person having no 'asuya' feeling or ‘hatred’; that's the person I am. I believe in growing together. Standing firm in every fall, embracing life happily, & being thankful for whatever I'm blessed with is what I've learned so far! A free-spirited, fierce, and liberated woman! A change-maker in the making!

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • Women are phenomenal in all aspects. Their bodies are incredible. They are made to endure so much—from menstruation to childbirth to menopause— and that's something I feel high about being a 'woman', a phenomenally phenomenal woman! To talk about my accomplishments, being the batch Topper at NIT Rourkela, getting acknowledged for contributing to more than 30 national & international anthologies & poetry forums and publishing my own book made me quite happy. Nonetheless, it is also another absolute treat to my joy exploring my individuality in MIQS with the support of my loving family & friends.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • True beauty is living a life worth celebrating, making people smile around you, & carrying an identity entirely own! Beauty is the ineffable mystery of the soul. Being savagely oneself is the true beauty for me.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • For me, a complete, healthy & happy family is a family who loves each other unconditionally, demonstrating compassion, trust, understanding, individual values, and devoting quality family time. Holding each other's hand in highs & lows is more important than posting seemingly perfect family images all over social media.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • The favorite idea of holidaying for me is to be at peace with myself first. Indeed, breaks and vacations are pretty significant, and holidaying is just incomplete sans laying on my mom's lap, enjoying authentic Odia cuisines & chilling out with family. Even though I love exploring new places, the peace I get being with my loved ones is beyond tranquility. It works as my panacea, and I get rejuvenated instantly!

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
  • It's a great honor to share the stage with such unique, talented, and gorgeous ladies is beyond my happiness! I'm here to write a story of my own and narrate my grandchildren in the future. Jokes apart, it's a lifetime achievement indeed! MIQS is one of the top platforms to explore myself, to be recognized and establish my identity at a broader horizon. "Loved or hated but not ignored." I am looking forward to use this forum to impact the lives of others and leave a mark positively!

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • India is developing at a faster pace, signifying empowerment in every aspect! India has a unique identity for its' democracy, humility, culture, and ethics. But as a society need to make a better world for our children. The incidences of child trafficking, abduction, abuse, rape, poverty, preventable and chronic conditions, etc, often make me shiver within. Every child deserves education and a dignified present and future; we need to join hands & work on these aspects. Going beyond stereotypes, judgments, and predetermined notions can help us defeat all the challenges together! Let's get inspired by Gandhi's saga of enjoying freedom!

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep." By, Robert Frost

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True sportsmanship is falling miserably, going through hell, and coming back with more vigor to win, and no one can even know unless we tell our side of the story!

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • It would be my sheer pleasure to touch many lives! If given such an excellent opportunity, which has been my long-cherishing desire for years—reaching out to the abandoned women, children, and older generation to offer my services to the best of my ability.
