Dr. Sakeena Naidu

  • Bhopal
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • I am an emotional and affectionate person. I like to be independent and self-sufficient for most of my personal needs, as it brings confidence . I am always open to changes as the world is dynamic and if we have to grow with the changing times we are needed to match the pace of the changing world. But I can't tolerate something wrong and do try to stand against it , even though it is sometimes considered a negative quality.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • I have not achieved anything which i can glorify .I am a single child born in a lower middle class Bohra muslim family. where a daughter was supposed to get married at an early or right age. But i find myself fortunate because my mother, who was herself fond of getting well educated but could not do so due to family's responsibility, tried successfully to live up her dream in me. So here I am as Dr Sakeena Naidu working as HOD of the Department of Humanities in a reputed brand of organization…. and a wife of a bank officer and mother of a successful corporate lawyer. For myself I want to achieve satisfaction and happiness by holding those hands who could not have somebody like my mother in their lives.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • If we only talk about physical beauty its been given by our parents’ genes and only has to be maintained. True beauty lies in the pure, compassionate and empathetic heart which is reflected in the transparent eyes of the physically beautiful face, as it is correctly said that beauty is in the eyes of beholder .Physical beauty … vanishes with age and time but the caring and kind hearts can make people look beautiful throughout their lives.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A family can be complete ,healthy and happy where love and trust exist among the members of the family . when each member knows that there is nothing to hide... as in every thin or thick of life , family is going to be the strongest pillar of support. But while keeping the ties of togetherness its also important not to forget the personal space required by every individual. The most important is the freedom to express the opinion in any decision making regarding the family, specifically women of the family should have the say ,which will inculcate the respect for women in general and this value will make the family of the next generation happy too.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Holidaying for me …...i love to travel but to a single place or city at a time to explore and see the life there and I like solo trips as that way.. I am more observant , but I also like outings with friends and family . But if outing is not possible ...then gyming ,dancing, going for long drives ,while driving, listening to old hindi bollywood songs ...but if short holidays fall after long tiring working days then relaxing at home with small household chores i prefer

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
  • As i feel that i have not achieved anything so very big which i can glorify .. honestly speaking i don't consider myself beautiful enough to participate in beauty pageants and never did so...nor i have the height and figure desired or expected on such platforms ...but when i saw the opportunity provided by mrs INDIA QUEEN OF SUBSTANCE PAGEANT and their way of categorization of titles according to age ..led me to give a try to fulfill my desire to substantiate myself through this dignified, respectful and only registered pageant. More importantly this platform is providing me an opportunity to do something for the weaker and marginalised section of our society apart from a chance to add glamour , substance and and a new tangent to my personality ,at this age and time of my life, when mostly women start feeling that their existence is no more meaningful after ...the children have flown off from the nest.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • 7 Being a teacher 2 things which bother me are .. Increasing communal fervor and worse is the misguiding of youth by fringe elements for their selfish vested interests and how detrimental it can prove in future for a country like India ,which is truly secular and has the constitution as one among the few best ones in many democratic countries . The failure of our governments in alleviating the economic inequality. In our country we are not yet able to provide proper sanitation, clean water to drink and basic education to the marginalised groups of the social strata. women are still beaten and burnt to death for dowry ,deprived off their basic human rights. There is so much to do still after 73 years of independence.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • AGE IS MERE A NUMBER IT CAN ADD EXPERIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING,,,,,, BUT CAN NOT BE A HURDLE TO EXPLORE NEW THINGS AND CREATE A NEW PATH TO CHANGE THE LIFE …..AND SO ITS BETTER LATE THAN NEVER TO TRY……

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True sportsmanship includes ..to learn to respect a defeat or losing the sports or game in the same manner as a victory and to follow ethics with appropriate behaviour with opponents in sports.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • If I were to be chosen as charity ambassador I would like to prepare a strategy with good impact on the people to change their outlook and make them more aware about the social values associated to our charity mission.this objective can be achieved through holding conferences and make the people and business houses realise that what outcomes the charity produce ..As i am a teacher and a woman so would like to gather the support of the teachers and branded educational organizations to collaborate to achieve the objectives . I am more interested in working for making the indian women aware of their human and constitutional rights to contribute towards gender equality in India.
