- A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
I am a very simple and down to earth woman. I am M.A. Hindi. I studied in a totally Hindi Medium school near Kanjhawala Delhi. I am married to an Army Officer. I have two sons Dronn(08 yrs) and Agastya (18 Months). Presently, we are posted at Firozepur Punjab.
- Your Achievements that makes you feel high
I have been a very reserved and quiet person since my childhood. I have completed my studies from Govt schools of West Delhi. With this background, I consider my selection for Mrs India Earth as indeed a great achievement and now I really don't want to look back.
- Define the true beauty.
For me, real beauty lies within. A person is actually beautiful when he has a clean heart, one who doesn't lie and cheat around, one who is not egoist but a simple person.
- What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
A complete, happy and healthy family is one where all family members are together in everything and theyhelp each other injoy and sorrows together and also when all family members are contended with whatever God has gifted them with.
- What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
For me, spending time with family, traveling around, shopping, movies and enjoying restaurant cuisines is the perfect idea of holidaying.
- Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
I want to participate in Mrs India Contest because I want to know my strenth and weaknesses at such a level and improve upon them. Also I want to learn good things from others from whatever exposure I get. Moreover, I want to become a proud mother to my children when they are grown up by having participated in such an event.
- What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
Today I am extremely bothered about increasing crime against women and children in the country.Everyday we get to hear news about cases of rape, domestic violence, child abuse and trafficking. Today mothers fear sending their children to schools or parks.
- The Quote or saying that encourages you?
‘Kaal kare so aaj kar...’ this line keeps me motivating as I myself don't like leaving things pending for next day. Whenever there is first opportunity, I try to finish things as per schedule.
- What is true “Sportsmanship†for you?
For me, true sportsmanship lies inrespecting each otherand maintaining harmony with people around. Also we should avoid short-tempered behaviour, politics and negativities in the true spirit of the games.
- If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
As a Charity Ambassador, I would certainly like to do something for the under-privileged and special children of our society. Identification of such children in the locality would be the first requirement. Subsequently, mass awareness to connect maximum people to this cause will be required. With lot of love, care and compassionand support, we should bring out their hidden talents and work on their strength and abilities. These children certainly need attention as they become victims of loneliness and isolation in the society. Everyone in this world deserve to be loved and liked by others.
