Finalist Detail 2017

Mrs. E Tuteja

  • Haryana
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • "I may not be perfect but I'm always me". This is the line that describes me well. Because whatever situation is I always try to be myself. I don't like to play roles and pretend to be someone else. And yes, I know I'm not perfect and that only motivates me to improve myself. I always try to learn something new, try to challenge myself with new different tasks. Maybe that is the reason I have so many hobbies like dancing, singing, painting, baking, cooking, soap making and of course reading which is definitely the best way to improve your knowledge, imagination and presence of mind. Also I'm a very friendly person. I make friends very easily and always happy to connect with different people.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high
  • First of all it's my education. I've got 3 diplomas in different fields like child psychology, art and crafts and English. It obviously makes me be proud of myself but it feels so easily achieved when I think of something more challenging that I accomplished. Being a foreigner I became Indian Mrs and came to live in a country with absolutely different culture, language, religion, people, mentality... well, almost everything! Daily struggles that only made me stronger. In spite of all differences and difficulties, I think, I adjusted quite well. I wanted to prove people that it absolutely doesn't matter what nationality you have or what county you belong or how you look, the only thing that matters is how you act and carry yourself. And now when I hear compliments from others connected to this, I feel satisfied. Also as I think, for every woman her biggest achievement is her kids, same for me is my son.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • They say, "Real beauty lives in heart, reflects in eyes and shows in the way you act". I think it's absolutely true as beauty definitely isn't only physical aspect but it's your personality, your internal world, the light inside you that attracts people towards your persona. You can catch people's eyes by your good looks but you can't keep their attention for long if the attractive cover is all you have.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Of course it's the family where there is love, care, respect, and understanding. And also I think one of the most important things is acceptance of each other's differences and giving a space and freedom of choice. We all have to understand that even if we are united as a family we all are different as persons. We have various interests and abilities and we have to accept that and support each other.

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • It's always near by sea. Feeling the breeze, toes in the sand, waves washing ur feet... it's one kind of euphoria! I think it's the best way to relax your body and mind. Add to that a happy face of my kid playing in water or building sand castles. I can't even imagine better holidaying than that! I always feel like I was reborn after spending few days on the seashore.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
  • First of all it's a big challenge for me. As I said, I always try to find different ways to improve myself, to learn something new. And it's the great platform to try myself, to show my talents. Secondly it's an opportunity for me to do something for this country which adopted me. And again the chance to show people that your nationality doesn't matter until you have a power and a will to fulfill your dreams. Also it's an amazing way to empower women, to motivate them, to make them believe in themselves.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Definitely it's inability to feel safe. Unfortunately children and women suffer from violence and sexual abuse too much in this country. Being raised in free and independent environment here I suffer a lot as I can't walk freely and do whatever I want. Andit's not only me who faces same problem. So I wish something to be done to make the situation better so that every girl, every woman can feel herself safe. And of course, it's the lack of education which basically creates most of the problems.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • "If you wish you be like someone else, you waste the person you are". It's the quote that motivates me to be myself, to remain myself. We all are different, with diverse personalities and talents. And that's great! That's what makes us unique. We have to concentrate on what we have and value our good qualities, work on our own abilities. One has to try to become an example for others, not just a someone's copy.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Definitely it's a lot of hard work plus confidence, belief in yourself and your ambitions. Also positive attitude is important as you never know if you are going to win or lose, but you never have to give up.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • As a Charity Ambassador first of all I'd work on education. I'd involve some famous branded schools and arrange some charity programs that will allow unprivileged children to get an equal education as of those from high class families. And of course I would love to do my best to make women's life better. To encourage them, to make them believe in themselves by giving my own example and support. A woman is strong enough to change her life and fight for herself and her ideas and that is what I want everyone to know.
