- A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
I am Shailza , and I come from the holy city of Amritsar. On the educational front, I am aM.Tech in Urban Planning, Masters in Geography and Bachelors in Travel & Tourism Mgt. I havetaught inGuru Nanak Dev University as a lecturer for 5 years and also worked with a NGO “Catch and Care†where I used to teach under privileged children in my free time. I got married to an Army Officer in Dec 2009 and since then I am a Home maker as I wanted to devote time to my family . I have interests in singing, dancing and cooking and i enjoy listening to bollywoodmusic and watching hindi movies.Joking around is a part of my personality and i carry a persona of a dreamer as I believe, if one doesn’t dream, one can’t accomplish. I look at the world as a nichefull of love and compassion.I’m an addictive personality who loves to talk.Also, i am very confident, bubbly, chirpy and happy go lucky girl.
- Your Achievements that makes you feel high
Achievement for me is something done successfully with effort, skill, or courage . Academically, I am Double Masters with first division , Personally, I married the love of my life and blessed with a naughty n charming boy .Now for future as it’s rightly said by Napoleon Hill “When your desires are strong enough, you will appear to possess superhuman powers to achieve.†So winning the crown will be my biggest achievement and I am eagerly waiting to achieve that.

- What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
A family is complete when u have a loving spouse , a naughty child and a bond between them which has threads of love , respect and feelings for each other. A healthy family is the one which eats together, works out together and spends quality time sharing each other’s thoughts keeping aside modern gadgets. And thus a family becomes happy forever.
- What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
I like to take 6 months holidays twice a year ! Now coming to the reality, holidays for me is being able to do what I want , when I want, howsoever I want , it doesn’t have up to be a specific place . I love to try out streets food , walk around and be me . What matters the most is I should be able to relax with a free mind without thinking what i have to do next. I look forward to my holidays for rejuvenating myself .
- Why you are participating in Mrs India Earth?
Right from my childhood I had a dream to represent my country in any event. In day to day life a women lives for her family and forgets that she is also a girl with carefree life and aspirations. I choose to participate not to prove anything or for the experience of it, but because my heart tells me to do it. For me it is all about myself, meeting new people and feeling beautiful.
- What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
Safety of women in our country needs more effort than what is being done now . The numerous incidents of rape , molestation , acid attacks, domestic violence against women bothers me to the core.

- What is true “Sportsmanship†for you?
Sportsmanship to me is not just being fair or generous but also to know ones capability and potential and accepting defeat in good spirit from a worthy opponent.It’s also to have an open point of view to situations ,events or circumstances. It meansbeing cheerful even in the face of dejection, rejection anddefeat .
- If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
“ Charity begins at home “If I am selected as a Charity Ambassador I will donate my 20% prize money to a charity. I will use my communication skills to create awareness among the youth using Social Media , Workshops, Fund Raiser events etc
