Finalist Detail 2018

Soniya K Patil

  • Pune
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • My name is Soniya, I am 44 in age, a mother of two,(but yet with the spirit of a teenage girl), I love being a child, always a learner, I find learning new things a very interesting job, my hobbies include: making finger licking food, dancing my heart out, a bathroom singer and I love trying to lend a helping hand to the needy, I love to participate in social work like the Pinkathon, for any events against cancer etc.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • My achievements that make me feel high are: winning the SPES Idol award 2k17, Raksha Bandhan celebrations with military paraplegic rehabilitation centre, participation in the marriage of 21 blind couples, and yes! One of my achievements is when any poor smiles because of any of my help towards them.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • I believe in inner beauty, it is always appreciated and cannot be changed whereas looks can be changed, every person is beautiful in their own way, the soul is all that matters rather than the cosmetics, a black soul or wrong thoughts cannot be hidden behind a pretty face.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Trust, belief and pure love are the best to make a healthy family, it is the best when it is a joint family with all the members having unconditional love towards one another, all this leads to success of the whole family and also to make their bond grow stronger.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • My favourite idea of holidaying is to be with my whole family, because every place is heaven and jolly with your loved ones near as well as crazy friends too! but to state a few, Switzerland, Paris and our own Kashmir are a few beautiful places to relax after a few hectic days.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs. India Earth ?
  • My success would certainly be an inspiration for all house-wife’s because most of the ladies, since teen’s have a dream of being a queen and to be noticed under the glamour world, but due to their other responsibilities of being someone’s mother, a daughter, a wife etc, she sacrifices her dream and questions herself… that can she do that at the age of 40’s?

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Brain-Drain……. I believe in equality, no caste discrimination, every human should be treated equal and should be judged by their own knowledge and capability, not through any other ways which would depict partiality, which would lead to a great loss for the country in terms of education (migration of intelligent youth abroad)

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • ‘life is like an ice-cream, enjoy it before it melts’ we get human life only once, so smile till the time you have teeth, enjoy every moment, make others laugh out loud, capture all those beautiful memories in pictures, learn to live in the moment rather than carrying wrinkles on your forehead….

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Getting back to work after accepting your failures, just a lot more dedication! Accepting all that failure, gulping it down your throat, but not letting go of your aim, your goal. A true sportsman knows what it is to be true to yourself and knows how to double the dedication, focus and determination to achieve that goal, not to be amongst the one’s who give up easily…

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • I would build orphanages and old-age homes near one another so that they both get each other’s company and complete the missing things in life, the small children need an elders hand, they need the comfort of grandparents and on the other hand the senior citizens need small children to play with, to call and treat them like their own children and gain the satisfaction of being grandparents, so if I get a chance to be the charity ambassador and create a difference, I would love to make this idea come true.
